Welcome
This website is designed to help you access the many resources that are available and to offer advice and guidance where possible to both paid and volunteer childrens' workers alike as well as those who are interested in this area of church life but have no idea how to get started.
Have a look around and see how we can be of help or serve you. Please feel free to join in any of the discussions on the forum and if you have ideas it would be great if you could share them.
About Us
We at FwF have a passion for seeing churches resourced and enthused about getting the awesome message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ communicated clearly and effectively. We offer a variety of services to help you do this from training sessions to praise parties and holiday clubs, see the events page for a better idea of what we offer.
Phil Gough:
Phil has been working with children in various settings for around 14 years, starting in his home church near oxford by helping out on a weekly basis with the childrens work. From there he developed a passion for seeing children saved and growing in a vibrant relationship with God. He attended the Future Builders course administered by Children Worldwide (for more information on this charity click here.) Phil was married to the lovely Bea in September of 2011 who also shares his passion to seeing all Children discover God and develop a relationship with him. They now live in Sussex and attend the Kings Church in Uckfield where they help oversee the Children and Youth work within the Church.
Bea Gough:
Bea is enjoying being a wife, and making a home with Phil. Whilst journeying with Christ in her early twenties Bea quickly developed a heart for the lost, especially those that did not have an opportunity to explore the word of God, because of a lack of communications tools, or a misunderstanding of an individual. From God placing this on her heart Bea chose a career in social care, and has been in the field or studying this area since she left school. After graduating in Special Needs and Inclusion with Deaf Studies, Bea now finds herself working for her local council, co- supervising a small team of great people, working to encourage independence and social inclusion amongst a community of adult with learning disabilities.
After meeting Phil, his heart for seeing all children saved led her to join him in his ministry. We now working together to resource others to share the Gospel, in accessible and meaningful ways, and Bea is particularly passionate about seeing the church inclusive for ALL.
